The candle/flower sconces are made from 100 percent recycled disassembled Virginia red wine barrels.
Each wine barrel stave is a unique piece making the sconce a one of a kind treasure. The stave is cut to length, sanded and a keyhole is drilled in the back for wall hanging. The metal hanging hook is made from the recycled barrel ring which is cut and curled to form a design that is suitable for hanging the glass holder.
We have assortment of glass holders, many of which are made from recycled glass, that can hold either flowers or a candle.
The stave is carefully sanded, sealed and finished with a penetrating polymerized tung oil made in Vermont. Our choice of tung oils creates one of the finest hand rubbed, earth friendly finishes we have found.
Each sconce is approximately 16" tall. The widths vary depending on the width of the stave chosen.
