Recycled Oak Wine Barrel Stave Platter

The Platter, made from Recycled Oak Wine Barrel Staves, serves as a gorgeous centerpiece. Our platter's versatility allows you to integrate it in your home decor in several creative ways, displaying flowers, fruit, candles, or bread.

All of our reclaimed American or French oak wine barrel stave items are handcrafted and have a very distinctive element of charm. Our wine barrels come from wineries throughout the state of Virginia and have been aged from years of making wine.

 The natural arch of a barrel stave offers an element of expression. It's important to note that no two staves or barrels are the same. Each piece might show natural imperfections from the aging of the wine or variations in color. Both add to the uniqueness of the platter.

Each platter is individually handcrafted. The barrel is disassembled, the appropriate staves are chosen, sanded, and stained. The platter is then sealed and finished with an Earth friendly hand rubbed tung oil. Rustic style handles are added so the piece can be used for serving.

This platter can turn into a very elegant and original gift idea. The piece is a representation of what you receive. We try our best to make each one as beautiful as the one before.
